I'm currently a reserve Sgt transferring to the Health Care Admin MOC (navy). I can't complain about the offer they are giving me - as it's a good one, but I was wondering if anyone out there knew about getting IAP bypasses. I have been told that because I only have the CF PLQ course (as opposed to the Land PLQ) that I cannot get an IAP bypass. So instead, I have to do 8 or 9 weeks of basic training that I've already been trained to teach and have taught at my home unit (I was a BMQ instructor this past year). I have no beef about doing the BOTP portion of the course, however my 8 or 9 weeks of IAP could be better spent improving my french at SLT school.

Anyone familiar with the rules or if an appeal can be made up in Saint Jean? My recruiting centre has provided minimal help on this.

Cheers.
