Not sure if this fits here but it is a travesty that must be stopped.

Scotland is famed for many things, from the poetry of Robert Burns to the rugged beauty of the Highlands and haggis. Today, the by-products of another world class Scottish icon – whisky – are being used to create a next-generation biofuel that could change the way we power everything from cars to planes

Using whiskey as fuel is a horrible thing. If you really want to use alcohol as a fuel source then build your own still and make "white lightning" of at least 180 proof. As a minimum you need a beer keg, a long piece of copper tube filled with marbles or something similar to feed the vapour to the condenser (water will collect on the marbles and drip back down while the alcohol vapours will continue to the condenser).

Please note it is probably not a good idea to drink this, and of course check the local laws and regulations before you do this on your own. (and of course, if you do choose to do this, set the still in a well ventilated space. You are going to have flammable vapours floating around if your still isn't set up properly).

Let us know how this goes for you.

Article is  about using whisk{e}y waste material ( draff) as the fuel source not whisk{e}y

A bit over simplified, but it works like a hot flying damn and makes some pretty yummy grog.  Errr, that's what I hear, anyway.
