The Governator didn't even call him out as a girlie-man ;D

Maybe we missed a major earthquake, which forced the land closer together?  But where was the Earth-shattering kaboom?

He's revealed our cunning plan to invade and annex Oregon and Washington (state, not DC) - then BC will share a border with California.

Haha I think you're both on to something - plus if they can eliminate WA state and OR, they can then use one of those marijuana catapults - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r65sGnwf5bk&feature=youtube_gdata_player
- btw California <-> BC, you know, free trade and all ::) 8)

If the media quoted him correctly, it appears the Governator needs a touch of (in his case, current events) coaching too - he seemed to appreciate all those troops Canada sent to Iraq.

Such as this guy?

(And he's not the only one...)

If anyone thinks that no Canadians went to Iraq in the current (perhaps now ended war) in Iraq, you need to give your head a shake.

I know Canadians served in Iraq, but it sounded like he was congratulating huge waves (think the scale of American or Brit deployments).  If that was what he meant (and I know it's if he was quoted properly), not so.

You're most likely correct; however, 99.9% of Canadians believe that no Canadians served in Iraq.

... and I am part of the 99.9% who did not know that the CF served in Iraq!!
How is that? Lack of information from the media maybe? Or because our presence in Afghanistan is so much more important (number wise) than the one in Iraq?

Anyhow... I now have some homeworks to do

Alea

Edit to add article link on Canadians in Iraq  http://this.org/magazine/2009/09/01/canada-iraq-oil/.... hum! Interesting what we can learn everyday. Thanks Tecknoviking!

Here's Arnie's other mistakes:

At one point during his speech on Thursday, Schwarzenegger inadvertently seemed to move Canada's capital from Ottawa to Montreal when he enthusiastically extolled how states -- and provinces -- can innovate.  Schwarzenegger, whose California administration clashed with then-president George W. Bush over environmental policies, said "You've never seen anything great coming out of Washington.

"Or Paris. Or out of Montreal or out of Beijing."

The reference to Canada's second largest city did prompt a slightly perplexed reaction, but nothing Schwarzenegger seemed to notice.
