A recent upgrade to the master control software for GPS systems, may have had a detrimental effect.
A notice advisory to NAVSTAR users, a NANU, was sent out at the beginning of January, that any GPS users noticing any unusual problems should contact the NAVCenter to report the anomaly before Jan 29. Unfortunately due to the rather discreet way this notice was sent out I don't think most were aware a potential problem even existed., if it actually does, but its worth keeping track of (sorry about the pun)

Bit late for any user input to this. All user responses were required no later that 29 Jan 10. Interesting though that an engineer pushed update turns out to be crap. Almost sounds like a GDLS solution to a problem not encountered.
