I consider Sam a friend who happens to be a Cbt Engr officer. And a pretty good one at that.

She commanded a platoon in the high Arctic last year.

I did my phase 3 with Cross, I work with another female Lt in my squadron at 5 CER, and have one female sapper in my troop. They're all pretty awesome.
