Federal tax increase in february

Noticed that the february tax deduction is increased on my feb pay stub compared to jannuary. Is it normal to fluctuate?

My tax paid was the same from Jan to Feb. Is your pay rate/LDA(or whatever environmental allowance) still the same?

Did you become entitled to a new IPC?  Or finish buying back some pensionable service?  Recently move from one province to another?  There are a few different adjustments that could cause a difference in the amount of tax deducted.

No nothing like that, everything stayed the same (same payrate/allowances). Except in Feb the Federal tax is higher than in Jan (thus my direct deposit lower). Very peculiar.
It doesn't really matter that much since coming tax time everything should balance out as it should. But I did found it strange
