I am trying to trace details of my husband's grandfather who we believe served in the PPCLI when he was 16 having arrived in Canada fromEngland with the Sally Army. His name was Albert Victor Braithwaite andhe was bornin 1895 in England. Can anybody help as to where to look please.

The Library and Archives Canada website includes a data base of First World War enlistment documents. If you have his name and you do, you should be able to locate him.

Edit to add: If you locate him, you should be able to get a copy of his service file from the archives. I believe there may be a nominal fee.
