Good evening all

Recently I was on the RCMP website and it was stated there that ERT assaulters must have uncorrected 20/20 vision.  Does the same apply to candidates for JTF2 assaulter and CSOR?

Go through the selection process and find out    ;)

Regards

The minimal med cats (including Vision Acuity) for JTF 2 and CSOR are listed in the respective recruiting campaign CANFORGENS.  To help you along here is the med cat for JTF 2 322225 and here is the med cat for CSOR 332225, I am sure you can figure out how to use the search function and/or google to figure out what those numbers mean.

Further to the V3 catagory...your vision must be correctable to 6/6 (20/20) vision or better.

What about colourblindness?          :salute: :cdn:

You must be able to tell white hats from black hats.

Try the search feature, do searches on JTF-2/CSOR pre-requisites, medical standards, and colourblindness.  With a bit of patience and diligence you should be able to piece together the answer for yourself.  Initiative and resourcefulness are also desirable attributes for special operations soldiers.
