Apparently small particles from diesel fumes can migrate from the sinuses to the brain.

I wonder what being under the casing when they flash the donks does?

Maybe thats why most mechanics can only count as many fingers they have...  wait.. I have 10 toes too.. I can count to 20.

As with all medical conditions resulting from exposure from one thing or another. All people are affected in different ways.

Not saying this report is wrong but I find no problem with my memory. I have worked around diesel engines since 1970 when I was introduced to the M109. In my second life I continued working around diesel engines with 7 years working in underground mines, where the fumes were thick enough to cut with a knife.

A mechanics memory is his most important tool for continued employment and over my 41 years of earning a living. I have yet to hear of someone forgetting his trade due to fumes. Not saying it never happened but-------
