I ran across this 4 part show called My War which has english subtitles. Part 1 is the only part I am posting. The Danes are in contact and then they were encircled. They tried calling for help but couldnt make contact. Surrounded and low on ammo they fought on until their mech vehicles broke through for extraction. Denmark pulled out a few years back but their contribution at the time like Canada,Germany and France was important.

More troops, and more fatalities per capita, than anyone else. And also had ground troops in Iraq.

Maybe somebody (Petard?) recalls. I remember something circa TF 1-06 about us leasing/borrowing a Danish counter-mortar radar, or did they support us with one?

Canada rented ARTHUR systems from Sweden for the deployments in Kabul ~2003. Not a bad system but they were constrained by limited numbers (and operating hours), which some suspect the enemy was able to determine and use the gaps in coverage to their advantage for rocket attacks

By 2006 introduction of the LCMR had begun for TFK, followed by HALO
