On a related note......

Here in CJTF76 a US abbreviation that comes up regularly is "POO": Point of Origin. It refers to the location from which an enemy rocket or mortar was launched. It can get funny during the Battle Update Briefs:

"the unit is still searching for the POO"

"the enemy is using the same POO"

"A-10s were sent out to strike the POO"

"unable to locate POO at this time"
