The fellow before me at this place put down outdoor carpet on the cement porch and I would like to remove the glue.Any ideas besides, pressure washer, mineral spirits, turps, elbow grease (already used up a lot of that)?
Thanks for the help.  ???

Wax stripper, the industrial kind that is used to remove wax from
marmoleum or battleship linoleum. If you have lots of glue use 70% stripper
30% hot water, let sit 15-30 min. scrape or scrub off.

Try lacquer thinner, or Goo Gone

The only way i was ever taught to remove it was with a torch, but that was on concrete.

Good luck that stuff is super hard to get off.

Have you gone down to the local hardware or paint store and asked if they had anything?  I know it may sound like a stupid question but they may have a mission specific solvent for what ails you.  Do you know what the glue is?  Normal mastic or did they use contact cement or maybe something worse?
Good luck.

You can buy contact cement solvent at the hardware store.  Tried it yet?
