Canadian CAMAA & the 'Shut-out' BC-17X

Question -- straight up, Gob, who would pay for the captial acquisition costs of the 8-10 BC-17X's that CAMAA proposes?

I take it you mean, based on the post just prior to yours, the '(now just 8-10) additional BC-17 tails to the C-17 line' that I noted?  In addition to the 4 DND tails that were a given in any event.

Just to be fully clear, for the last time:
DND's 4 BC-17XM - paid for by DND (ACP-S funds);
Our 4 BC-17XM/X - paid for by Canadian Globemaster;
4 BC-17XMs to be traded for ex-RAF C-130Js - paid for by DND (ACP-Tac funds);
Plus, as noted, 'Optional CA/NE Armoured Equipment Exchange (i.e. Leo2A6, PzH2000, AH-64D) made possible by trade of 2 additional lower-cost BC-17XM (funded from within TB pre-approved MGS allocations).'
TOTAL = 12-14 tails. (Would have previously been 13-15 if not Excluded from competition.)
