I know it‘s been asked before, but does anyone have any idea how the pay levels (for officers)work? Looking at the current pay for a newbie 2LT, the monthly for the "C" level (which is what the documents say a DEO starts at) is $3077. That‘s more than a "B" level ($2861), which would lead me to believe that "A" would be less than "B", but it‘s not - it‘s actually more than "C", at $3598, but less than "D" and "E". The incentive pay part of the chart makes sense (years in, right?) but I‘ve never come across what the letters represent. If it‘s schooling, is a "C" a Bachelors? What does that make an "A" (which you can only be stuck under for one year anyway)?
Confused in Calgary,
Ralph.

here you go:

A - ROTP (former CBI 204.2111 & 204.2151)
B - OCTP-NFS (former CBI 204.2113 & 204.2153)
C - DEO (former CBI 204.2114 & 204.2154)
D - UTP-NCM / OCTP-FS (former CBI 204.2112, 204.21135, 204.2152 & 204.21535)
E - CFR (former CBI 204.212)

PAY! You want PAY!
Officer‘s don‘t get paid.
They do it out of love for thier men and Country. ;)

I‘m willing to accept a case of ham omelettes in lieu of real money.
I don‘t need the dough, but wifey says we have to buy diapers. :crybaby:
Cheers,
Ralph
