Beginning Salary for Vehicle Technician

I was just curious, what is the beginning Salary for a Vehicle Technician, the Canadian Forces website advertises it as approximately $60,000 a year as the starting rate... Is that accurate?

Also if it is not, when do you get pay increases and how much are they?

Starting wage for a Vehicle Technician is the same as most NCM trades, $36 000/year. At 4 years of service you can expect to be promoted to Corporal, at which point your base salary will be $60 000/year
