My condolences to the families of Australia's finest.

You've never been lost until you've been lost at Mach 3.

Sea Kings eh....wonder how old theirs are?

The first batch of ten Sea Kings were received in 1975 and two more were purchased in 1983 but all of the Sea Kings have been removed from ASW duties since 1995 and now perform mostly utility roles now. The Sea Kings are planned to serve until 2015.
Canada's Sea Kings in comparison were purchased in the early 60s.

Interesting article here where it's argued that the Aussies should retire their Sea Kings ASAP...
