1. what is day to day routine like
Depends on the unit, and unit shift schedules are always subject to change.

2. what is the occupational training like
100-some days at CFSACO, one of the finest training institutions in the CF. Hotel-style accomodation, decent food, and a sweet gym - all in the same building. Its to compensate for the courses being very challenging - nights and weekends are often spent studying hard.

3. how often are member posted
Regularly. Posting lengths depend on many factors.

4. how often are tours
Ranging in short durations to up to a year. Lots of fun places to go :)

5. where are posting to after occupational training
Comox, Cold Lake, Moose Jaw, Trenton, Bagotville, and Greenwood for traffic types; (typically) North Bay for air defence types.

More postings open up after advanced training. Flight advisory positions are in Edmonton, Petawawa, Valcartier, and Gagetown. Maritime Fighter Control at Esquimalt and Halifax. The list goes on.

"100-some days at CFSACO"

I spent 3 years at CFSACO as an instructor.  It is a great place, and it is a great occupation.  I was recently told CFSACO will be moving to Borden in a couple of years, too bad.
