Well, I am in Sydney til tomorrow, as I thought I'd show up for my own farewell dinner at HQ Bty tonight. Many of us are posted out, plus the new RSM is supposed to be in...

Anyways, here is a tease of some pics to come.

The pics of the weapon below are of Singapore's SAR-21, and the creatures are the locals, a bearded dragon, and a goanna (6ft/2metre) which are abundant here.

Also the French FAMAS G2 (w/Aussie F88SA1)and the French Para Minimi.

Did anybody from the CFs or USMC turn up for AASAM?

Usually we get about 10 countries turning up, but this year no USA, no Canada, no UK, no NZ, no Brunei, no Thailand.

Last year USMC and US Army (25th ID) were here. However, 5 did show, and this includes France, East Timor, Malaysia, PNG, and Singapore. With Australia, this makes 6 nations.

Anyways, I am running late, and I am out the door. I'll be beack next friday.
