I dunno,

I'd be pretty torqued at my mom if she posted on the internet pics of me, along with name, rank, unit, posting and operational details...

Imagine if captured and interrogated? They have all the details of his immediate family, including names ages.

She's also posted Operational planning, as in this unit is replacing that unit at this time.

I'm sure she's proud, as she should be, but security over pride.

but i find lately that alot of the stuff on the news isnt really held back they say who is there what they are doing and from what unit/company ect.
