Yes OJT can make a big difference in morale .. I'm hoping to get some OJT in Gagetown Until End April .. We'll see

Well .. I'm here now .. he he .. and officially on PAT until May 06 .. At least you can count on the block leaves in summer and Christmas.  Hope I can find some OJT until the time my course starts up. If anyone needs info before coming to Borden .. Just ask and I will do my best to answer ...

Any idease how the Vacation time and Stat holidays are handed out during AVN training ? .. Is there a winter break of some type during March / April or so? Any info would be appreciated

That makes sense .. I've heard that the CFSATE shacks are mostly 2 to a room .. I have my doubts though. 

Cool .. Well not really .. PAT sucks 4 sure in any way shape or form.  My message says that my course is scheduled to start on Feb 14 06 to Aug 2007.  Are you living in the same shacks that you'll be in during your AVN course?

Thanks for the reply .. When did you finish your BMQ? .. I'm supposed to be starting my AVN training in February .. Why is your course slated for March? .. Just curious to know what they have you doing in the meantime?  .. What are the Quarters like at CFSATE (2 or 4 per room etc...) Thanks

Just out of curiosity, are there any of you heading for the AVN trade when you complete the BMQ? I'm a recruit school by-pass (RUB IT IN .. smile) and will be on my AVN couse in Feb 06. As others have been saying .. BMQ is all a head game.  Just remember that and lean on each other for help...

Could someone currently attending the AVN course at CFSATE give some idea, details on the accommodations? How many per room? What are the rooms like? can you have high speed internet / cable hook ups? Any info would be greatly appreciated. PS.  Feel free to give some feedback on the training...

Hope this raises Spirits on those awaiting their calls. I received my call this AM from the CFRC and will begin my AVN trades course in Jan / 06. The only difference is that I am a Recruit School ByPass.

Also waiting for Recruit School By-Pass for AVN .. From what I understand, they are trying to fill all the BMQ courses first and worrry about the course loading as the selections are made.

kincanucks, If I am picked up on the Sep 5 selection board and I am a recruit school by-pass .. is it possible that I would not find out for some time when I would be attending Borden for AVN?  THX
