1500 twice a month? Are you sure about that? From what i remember it was about 900 dollars, twice a month if you were a regular 2lt DEO. It is 3835-300 for pension then minus the rq for about 600 then minus the taxes..

Well, MTL is about a 10 dollar bus drive away. As far as St Jean is concerned.. there isnt much to do there other than Boston Pizza

We had a guy on our platoon with wedding arrangements before he left for training. Talk to the staff. He was able to get weekend leave even when we had all of ours cancelled. I imagine it all depends on the course staff though.

I've done BMOQ, basic up series was a pretty good indication of it. You are being argumentative for no reason. More to your point, if someone asked you for advice about the ISS and you know more than someone else about the topic from watching videos, some may call it research, then why not...

I was advised to purchase From The Ground Up, and start reading.

I too had a conviction for a DUI, the only thing that was different is that it took the application a bit longer to be processed. (about 3 extra months). I got in as Pilot but since then has had a pardon granted.

At ACS they said they are running them every 6 months. The one that I was selected on was in February 2014.. so if nothing was changed itll be another couple of months before the next pilot selection board sits. Although, she did tell us that she is pushing for more frequent ones. Not sure if...

Mab, I went to ACS somtime in November, don't really remember when. My air factor didnt come in till mid January sometime.

Gtoth, from what the recruiting center told me here in Winnipeg, it runs from May 5th, to August 8th. I am not sure if that is shorter than the usual or not.
