I know a guy who was caught wearing an actual banana hammock, and received a lifetime supply of jokes and one liners. All of the NCO's took to calling him "slipitoff" (a play on his name).
Some people take "whatever is comfortable" to the next level...
There's really no way of knowing how long somebody will be on PAT between courses. A good friend of mine is a WFE tech and won't get trade qualified until 2015. For others it takes less than a month to get course loaded. it really depends on timings, trade, instructors, etc. Too many variables...
Newguy1, there's speculation here that there's been some changes in the training and no matter your progress you'll automatically be recourse to week one to accommodate the new training plan. I've heard it from multiple sources (including instructors) but don't personally know anybody that's...
Wasn't too sure where to post this, but here's a little update.
As of yesterday, the CF will no longer pay certain fees if you decide to VR (voluntary release) during basic. The following applies to anybody over the age of 18: if you should decide to VR after beginning basic you will need to...
I just feel that if you were to compare a civilian job with the equivalency in the military it would seem much more viable for most to opt in for the civvie job. Ex: Would one rather settle down with a trade ticket in a high paying competitive civilian industry or leave all of the comfort behind...

That line sounds like something straight out of an old action flick.
I'd like to also like to add Air...
I'm a straight rare steak eater myself. I just found his choice of words interesting. We've already got lab grown burgers, whose to say grilled burgers that move aren't next? One day, my meat better crawl into my bun itself!
I guess you're right. I've just heard the stories of people who let a minor issue escalate over a period of time and it only worsens. Eg: knee injuries.
I don't ever want to be "that person" who says "I really wish I would have checked it out earlier".
Eh, only time will tell. If I passed I...
I was watching BBC this morning and the host said verbatim "this patty was created by cells from a dead cow". Those words are all I remember from the whole excerpt. Nothing say's appetizing like dead cow cells. What's next?
