For me, it was about $1000 twice monthly.  Married only gets you free quarters, still pay for rations.  Taxed at the provincial rate your family resides.  And no PLD. So yeah, everyone's different.

OJT is different for everybody. In my case it was mostly administrative, so a lot of paperwork where I became familiar with QR&Os, DAODs, forms to fill out, and just how the structure of the CF works.  I was given time to take care of my own stuff like getting kit, taking courses, claims, and...

Good luck Mab163!  I hope you get a call to attend ASC for early to mid January.  To get Air Factor takes at least a month it seems, so pretty tight to get merit listed in time for the end of February.  Fingers crossed for ya.

Out of the group I attended ASC with, five of us were merit listed.  As of today, all five of us have received offers and are attending BMOQ 04 JAN 14!

If I listened to all the people that questioned my intentions I would never have made it through the process.  Just accepted an offer for pilot -- I'm 40.

BMOQ 04 JAN 14 -- seemed like forever, but at least now we know calls are going out.

The waiting is finally over!  Accepted the offer for DEO pilot a couple hours ago.  Leaving for BMOQ 04 JAN 14.
