I'm heading to BMQ this week and have a question about running shoes. I have 2 sets. 1 is more for indoor and the other is for outdoor.. Am I able to acces both pairs? Or do I have to pick one?

Is the beep test still the same.. Level 6 to pass? What number to you have to reach for a grip pass?

I have not gotten my package as of yet. I am sure it's on it's way though.. I get sworn in on the 25th and leave the next day.... Can't wait!

If I'm able to say goodnight to my 3 year old son via my cell phone every few nights I'm all for it., it will help me and it will help him to know daddy is gone but still loves him.. Thank you for allowing phones for such reasons..

I'm happy to have a cell phone while in basic. Like many I have kids and this is going to be hard on them. Using it in the evenings for five minute face time can go along way in morale for me and at home.. Other than that the phone stays in a box and will not be carried around.

When I did my medical they really check out your legs and feet. I guess lots of recruits complain during marching etc.. Medics are making sure that there is no excuse before leaving to BMQ.

That to me is racist. Because I'm white I get no offer of a bonus etc... I've worked hard as a youth and accomplished a lot... I know in the native culture they face certain challenges, but this seems a little ridiculous. It's like a soldier fighting next to a private contractor. One makes more...

There are lots of threads about this topic. To short answer your question, if you are reg force your physical will be done in BMQ. If you have not started with physical training on your own it will be harder to do in BMQ.
