CFRC Toronto did not begin processing me until I was almost 17, and I was not allowed to be sworn in until after my 17th birthday (according to them). If anyone is 16 and considering going to the CFRC Toronto, as far as I know they are not processing 16 year olds.

I recently enlisted as a future ACISS. If you like computers, this trade involves them thoroughly. (Computers involve a lot of math though, are you sure you're up to it?)

I just enlisted as a future ACISS. My volunteer experience was as a hockey goalie coach, and apart from that, only extra-curriculars at my high school. I would say just volunteer for something you find interesting or meaningful, it'll all look good in the end.

Ohhhhh okay. Im going into grade 12 aswell. From what I can see, it depends on which CFRC you go to for now. Unfortunately for Godwin, I believe that the CFRC Toronto only allows those 17 and over.

That made the difference between me being stuck with the Fall BMQ, or me getting to do the summer course. Whatever, whats done is done, now I get to look forward to my weekends :P

When did you first start applying? Because I know that starting at least in january of this year, the CFRC only allowed applications from people who are 17 and over (or almost 17). Why are you 16 and in grade 12? Did you skip a year?

I'm supposedly being issued my kit within the next few weeks, and I was just asking out of curiosity. Just wanted to know if I'll get issued the old uniform, and then have to go again to get the ECU (Thank you for the correction.)

Does anyone know if they will be issuing the ICU to new recruits or if they will postpone it until combat units have received them?
