Anyone here doing the Scotiabank Half in Vancouver this sunday (27th)? It's my first half-marathon. I'm kind of looking forward to it haha.

I was accepted. I start BMQ in August.

I applied for Infantry Soldier last fall and the CFRC took my application even though the trade was closed. They just made sure that I understood I wouldn't progress much past the CFAT and medical stage before spring 2010.

The reason I ask is because I want to start a bank account with BMO before I leave for BMQ because they have special accounts for CF members. It says on their site that recruits can open an account before actually starting in the CF if they produce a document stating they have been selected.

After calling applicants and offering them a job over the phone, does the CF send applicants a formal letter in the mail stating that they've been selected for training?

Hey. I've completed my application and was told the other day by the recruiting centre that I was selected for PPCLI reg force infantry but i don't have a BMQ date yet. I interpreted this to mean I have a job with PPCLI. How can I have that but not a BMQ date?
