It's based on the graphic novel, so I wouldn't expect alot of historical accuracy.  The trailer shows the persian army enlisting the use of trolls (or cyclops?)...  a fact commonly overlooked by historians  ;)  .  I'll go see it just for the artistry of the images.  Not enough films really...

mine was issued with cam cover and net already on, another guy in my recruit group got his with scrim attached too...I don't think it's a big deal.

according to CF stats, the current average age for recruits is 24, which happens to be my age.  I'm joining an infantry regiment as one of a group of 15 or so....mostly age 17-18, but a couple in mid-20's too.  don't worry about it.

that's because combat boot sizes have little/nothing to do with civy sizes.  it's almost like they just assign numbers at random.

If you miss out on summer, you should be able to do a weekend bmq in the fall.  check with your unit.

Apparently, as of about a year ago, you can now buy WW2 era MG's (browning .30, mg34) in semi-auto form as a non-restricted firearm. also, as they are belt-fed, there is no restriction on ammo capacity.
