  My story starts in June 2006, I have always wanted to join the army, particularly the infantry, It looks like the most exciting job in the world. I filled out an application when I was 18 and never received a call back, so I figured they didnt want me or they were full or what ever the reason...

So after doing my application and waiting for a call back I called them to see what was going on. When I called they had no information on me, so now I have to go do my whole application over again and I dont understand why this happened, laziness maybe maybe they where over-whelmingly busy...

I just finished my application and testing and should be starting BMQ sometime before fall. Is there any time to come home after BMQ and if so how long? or do I have to wait a year until I get vacation to go anywhere? thanks guys
