Here's a question, we're all focusing on the mini gun (which has LCF) but I wonder if anyone has compared the 7.62 chain gun (diemaco/colt canada) in the same role. lighter gun, allowing for FE but you still have ammo restrictions (not knowing specs for lift vs enviroment).

most selection boards sit within the first three or last three months of the year.  if you dig through the training site you mite find a reference. the other option is check the CANFORGEN.  If you have a friend in your OR say a nice Cpl they may be able to tell you when it sits that is from...

Good news is you can get out of the EME Branch and live a normal life.  How ever your in a red trade and it's going to be hard to get out.  with that said, don't go to Pet as an EME.

First I would talk with your BPSO as the entrance requirements have changed for INT.  Second if your serious about the trade, talk to a Cpl who graduated recently, or a MCpl about what a day at the desk is like.  It can be different then you think once get there.
