Thanks for the welcome note Brin11, your at least the 3rd person that I've heard talk about the life time friends people make during basic. It will be interesting, I'm looking forward to finding out for myself. I still a little nervous to see what I'm in for though.

I know that my skin will pay the price during basic, I've never shaved every day, more like every second day. But hey, I had a good idea what I was getting into when I signed up so I'll deal with it. I just can not believe this thing has gone on for this long. I guess I'm not helping the matter...
