    Competition list clarification

Oof 4 months? Yeah I hope the backlog clears up some. I'm still in 'Final Processing' for the past 2 months. Really hoping I get out of that and onto the competition list and enrollment and into BMQ for the summer.

    Para Availability Pres (Toronto)

I can't answer your other questions but if you're doing Reserves then the regiment you join is typically the one you signed up with, so in this case the QoR regiment would be the one you join. Toronto has several regiments for the 3 branches, so unlike Reg Force which sends you off after BMQ to...

this seems to be the general theme of the CAF....the 'hurry up and wait' approach

    CFAT Spatial Ability

I hate to be a wet blanket onto this helpful thread, but I would like to remind everyone that when writing the CFAT, and after writing the CFAT, one is subject to the Privacy Act and cannot discuss what is on/in the test. At best, we can give you suggestions and advice on what to study and how...

    change trade

This is why it would be easier speaking with Chain of Command. The OP (original poster) stated they are currently in BMQ, and haven't started their Occupational training. Speak to your CoC and figure out next steps from there.

Fitness for Operational Requirements of CAF Employment ( FORCE )

I realize this is an older thread (3.5 years since last post), but is there any updated information for someone who is in the Final Processing portion of the application process and is trying to put together an exercise regimen to get ready for Basic? Anything for the Grip strength, FORCE test...

    Starting as NCM to Officer

Hi, just commenting on the last question you asked. You're not going to find any specific material on what exactly is on the CFAT as it is covered by the Privacy Act and anyone who has taken the test is not allowed to give details on what is exactly on it. They tell you this when you write the...

    Application Process Samples [ 2019-present]

Hopefully! I know on the Application portal that my medical said completed after having the primary medical meeting, even though I still had to get the supplemental FDLs completed. So yeah here's hoping that it processes fast and I can move forward with my application and Basic.

    RMC/ROTP 2024-2025

i knew all of my references personally, and so when I submitted them for my references, I let them know that they should expect an email from the CAF, especially once I started getting reminder emails from the CAF's chosen 3rd party provider

    education requirements to join

Ah see I didn't know this. Thank you for the clarification, as the career counsellor at the CFRC wasn't that clear about how the ranking of chosen occupations worked. I just knew that I was "given" my first choice after writing the CFAT when talking with the recruiters.

    ROTP Selection Question
