It really is just a matter of picking a trade YOU want to do. Once your transcripts get verified, they will know for certain which trades you qualify for. All of the pre req's are on the CAF website.

If your referring to the applicant portal on the CAF website, mine too says closed but my application is indeed moving forward. Just make sure with the recruiting staff. I'm sure you could get them to update it if you mention it. I've been in touch with them a lot via email so I haven't bothered...

It was pretty good all things considered, changed from vehicle tech to Aesop and had to do another interview and the aircrew medical process etc… also got held back for 6 months for a medical reason. Been about a year and a half till now.
