    Thanks Sheri, I know i am praying for the safe return of not just Dale but everyone one of them.... i don't think that a minute goes buy without them being in my thoughts or prayers... i just want the next 18 weeks to go by without a hitch :)

    02 Apr 06: Two soldiers injured in Afghanistan accident

    I just wanted to say that i know one of the soldiers that was injured in the accident. Although he feels ok, he has a blood clot in his head and will be coming back to Canada for surgery to remove it.... he is just mad that he is going to miss the rest of the tour.

    Well i guess i would fall under the "rare" category... Even though a military life is a very hard one to live, when you love someone as much as i love my boyfriend you put up with anything just so you can love them. Out of the last year he has been gone a total of 10 months, all his time away...

    I am a civilian, currently dating a Private. He is stationed in Edmonton and is in 1PPCLI. He flew over a little over a week ago to afganistan for his first tour. I sure am damn pround of my man. :) :)

    I just moved to edmonton as well, I didn't know where would be a good place to rent.. I ended up in Clareview. It is awesome, there is a superstore, walmart, 2 movie theaters, a bunch of restaurants etc. The train to downtown is minutes away, and the base is only about a 10-15 minute drive...
