Could the T-72 Work?
No the T-72 is nowhere near as good as a LeClerc or Abrams etc - but when you talk about it 'always coming about it second best' at least mention that it was always defeated by Depleted Uranium rounds whereas it was firing conventional rounds itself. At least the T-72 can be used as an ATGM...
