    So, you just choked someone unconscious but don’t check airways? That’s the point brihard is making. He received training in First Aid but can’t do the basics. If he can’t internalize training for First Aid, then we need to assume he can’t properly internalize other type of training...

    Is it unreasonable to expect someone to provide First Aid (Marines are trained) to someone that is unconscious? It’s not about the choke but what you do when you realize someone is in distress.

    The F-15 of the early 80s was a pure A/A fighter. The E wasn’t produced until 1988 and even underwent some OT&E during the Gulf War. That was a non starter as we needed a multi-role aircraft.

    To be fair, I find Met not to be too useful when operating in locations where there is a well establish commercial (or US military) Met presence that can be accessed. As aircrew, we are trained to interpret weather products - probably not to the same level as a met tech - but certainly good...

    It’s more than just citizenship but also ties to other countries which may prevent you from getting the required security clearances.
