I'm writing to see if anyone else was in a similar situation and its been resolved.
June 2021 VAC reached out to me saying there was a pay adjustment going back to when I medical released that affected my monthly IRB. (AFAIK)
They requested for me to give a release of information between them...
I don't understand why so many Flag Officers are so close to the front lines.
This is like the 5th or 6 RUS General I've heard that has died in the conflict. Take it all with a grain of salt, because of fog of war and such.
I'm not some tactical genius, but I would think any first year Officer...
Thanks for the quick reply.
Yeah primary condition was the issue with my legs, its an awarded condition and was main reason I was medically released.
When I initially applied regarding the rupture I attributed it to my previously awarded condition, and VAC gave me a form for my Doctor to fill...
Just curious if anyone has successfully applied for support on a new injury after release.
I currently have an awarded injury on both my legs. This injury basically ended up making my walking ability restricted and difficult for long periods or even what would be considered normal use...
I'm curious, can a vet be charged with military discipline after their service period, or any criminal charter violations for disgraceful conduct, or conduct unbecoming while representing the CAF?
Because deep down they are cowards. They will confront the low person on the totem pole who is just trying to earn their underpaid wages, instead of confronting people with the power to address their concerns.
This is kind of like giving your private a hard time because you were assigned duty...
Came across this earlier today. Absolutely disgusting display by a vet in public on remembrance day.
The video isn't high quality, but can anyone ID both medals he is wearing. I think the left one is South west Asia with Afghanistan bar, and I think his cap badge is RCR?
The part i'm confused about is this event would of been on their schedules for some time. People around them would of known in advance that the golfing event was planned and with who it was planned.
I highly doubt none of their subordinates would of mentioned the bad optics of this. I've...
Personally I'm following this one closely.
Ironically I'm now sitting at the hospital for a lung xray because I have a lot of issues with breathing.
Yes I worked in the navy and on more than one occasion I know I was exposed to mold directly.
For years while I served I had a smoker's cough...
Lots of variables we don't have really. From a quick google search sea temps over there are 13-17 degrees, which is 1-2 hours until exhaustion or unconsciousness.
They should have had survival suits on. They may have deployed a raft. There are still lots of reasons to remain optimistic.
I hope it isn't. I jumped the gun and id'd it wrong. Still hoping for some good news, I most likely know the SAC on duty during this. Strikes very close to home for me.
Unfortunately Italian Navy , 1 deceased found, 5 souls missing.

Edit seems to be a civilian account that tracks air travel of Italian military.
I curious how this went down. I experienced a ship having it's Cox'n replaced during workups, but never a CO or XO, or in this case both.
I know with the Cox'n it was a huge deal with the Commodore showing up along with Fleet Cox'n while in port. It had potential to spoil our crew also because...
Yeah like it or not, we are a commonwealth country. No matter how we feel about it, it is our Duty to ensure members of the Royal Family are protected while on our soil. Even if they are here in an unofficial capacity.
One of my biggest issues with our politics is we nickle and dime...
