Sexual Misconduct Allegations in The CAF

That's not surprising, there are likely many that didn't. I suspect that had this occurred 10-20 years ago that not nearly as many men would have come forward because the organizational (warrior?) culture at the time would not have allowed it.

It's still pretty bad. Someone decided to turn it into a homeless shelter a couple of winters ago. They completely destroyed some of the washrooms. I think that they are still fixing them. The fence that has been put up has done wonders.

Dalton Armoury now belongs to 32 CBG Battle School, it's actually a different building than the one that was closed down that was used by the QOR.

So which city is the largest city in Canada without an armoury?

    All things Novel Coronavirus (2019-nCoV)

Just when you thought that it was safe to go outside again. The anti-maskers/vax-ers are going to go crazy. I had to add the hyphen because my phone kept autocorrecting that word to 'cadets'.

The British Army has unveiled the cap badge of The Ranger Regiment

Considering that the battalions that form the regiment are going to be retaining their own cap badges and identity, I don't think that there will be anyone to wear the new cap badge. Although, I can't wait to hear the CO yell: Royal Scots Boarders, 1st Battalion, Royal Regiment of Scotland, 1st...

Some of the entries on that list count different buildings at the same location as separate Armouries. Number 53 is also blank.

Videos reveal moldy, disgusting Camp Lejeune barracks where Marines are forced to live

Well, you normally only have to share with one other person. Probably the only time I have ever gotten my own room.

    Religious/Extremist Terrorism: Non-Muslim edition

It's kind of disappointing how many random symbols and sometimes people are used as symbols by the far right. If it wasn't for cancel culture, it might not be as big a deal. Fortunately, some things such as the Detriot Red Wings and Taylor Swift have survived being used as a white supremacist...

Reinventing H and A (Split from: Disgusting Display from a vet in Irving's Big Stop Restaurant)

Well, one of the ways to move away from this is to have honours and awards have more concise criteria. For example, in the UK the QDJM and QPJM were/are given to everyone with I've years of service. It's obviously not as simple as that with the Order of Military Merit and MSM, etc,, but it...

    PSYOPs course

It's generally a reserve tasking, but there is any number of deployment possibilities. It generally isn't used in Canada, because it's not legal to use on Canadians.

Those dates were based on him not having the GCS-SWA.

I'm not sure if wearing a beret counts as being in uniform.

Disgusting Display from a vet in Irving's Big Stop Restaurant

It's likely the Afghanistan Bar that we are seeing on the SWASM. Ironically, that was the exact same medal rack that Russell Williams had before they were taken away. I'm guessing that there aren't too many people that this person could be.

Disgusting Display from a vet in Irving's Big Stop Restaurant

South West Asia Medal with Afghanistan Bar, CD with one bar. Since he does not have the General Campaign Star, he would have had to have served in Afghanistan between September 11th, 2001 and April 24th, 2003. There was no RCR deployment until August 2003. It is of course possible that he was...

"New plaza to recognize (Cameron Highlanders of Ottawa) service throughout Canada’s history"

I hope that there are a few Camerons on here that appreciate the fact that we are using a thread about them to make fun of the Foot Guards.
