All I know is 38 Brigade wont get the SPS for a very very long time

I picked up the papers within days of my 17th birthday, and within 2 months I was sworn in a and about to start BMQ. Im about to turn 18 in a month and im a quater way through my DP2A(IPSWQ), and Ive never regretted it

I got to many to share... -Accidental fire in a roomates locker prior to inspection -female "entertainment" magazine stuffed under pillow prior to inspection -overnight eyebrow, mustache shavings -Condoms in rifles prior to inspections

I spent this past summer in Gagetown. Only advice is if your not 19 or can not get a "proper" ID then weekends off will suck.  So buy a portible DVD player

From what Ive been told by other guys in Winnipeg, the BIQ weekend course isnt as good compared to a full month in Wainwright or in my case Gagetown

I just got back from Gagetown yesterday, finished my DP-1 Infantry course

Plus Im sure there is a few more Minto Armour-ers posting here I heard that they are running some of the BMQ courses out of the Kapyong Barracks. I dont know about the SQ course though Enjoy your course and good luck, Winnipeg is a fun city most of the time

Well before we stood down I never heard anything about me going, ,mainly because I'm in LFWA, but I will be finished my BIQ in CFB Gagetown by the time this starts and will be at the Toronto Airport on Aug 20th... am I eligible for this?

My SQ course was also one of the last (or was the last) to fire the Carl G It was awsome
