I'm starting my weekend bmq this weekend  and we won't have any scheduled bmq after week 2 which is Dec 5-7. I'm not sure about regular forces BMQ

I am starting my basic week 1 this Friday, so thanks for posting! It's funny when you talked about marking or labeling your kit because a few people have told me to do it. However, we received no instructions. Anyway, thanks for the update.

hey Lil_T, do a PFT first and if it turns out OK, it should be sufficient.  I took a copy of the PFT report during my medical and they never asked me about it ever again. Oh, also my family doctor had to sign a form as well..no biggie. Good luck.

Oh alright, based on what I have read I think there's free parking. Hopefully, there's enough space for everyone. 16 days to go brothers!

November 21st BMQ at Fort York! Anyone else? I heard we're joining the group that started on Oct.17th. It's going to be their 3rd week when we start week 1.

Six of us from our unit who were all sworn in this past summer had been told that we were going to have our bmq oct 17th. However, we got a call saying we weren't loaded to the oct 17th course and have to wait till november 21st, which is the next course.

Have fun to all of you doing the Oct. 17th. Our unit has moved our BMQ to Nov 21st. More waiting!..

Hey all, so it looks like there's actually Oct 17th BMQ at Moss Park and Fort York.  I guess I'll see you oligarch and grmpz1 at Fort York. Has any of you received your joining instructions?

I think you should call your unit and tell them that your file is ready for pick up so they can enroll you.  Same thing happened to me and I was told that the CFRC and each unit work separately so you have to keep in touch with the unit and update them. So, that's my suggestion!  Your unit can't...

I used to have one in my car until someone stole it. In fact, this is the second time someone stole the "Support our Troops" ribbon on my car. I wonder why would someone take it away  ??? anyway, the good thing is , I have 3 more and I'll put them on.

Not 100% but if you belong to a unit that is at Fort York (ie. RCA, Queens ), you'll be joining us. I'm from 709 comms and we were told we are most likely be joining other recruits from the units within Fort York. Location is yet to be determined but we'll get joining instructions shortly.
