    So I've looked at the pay rate scale and it all makes sense to me other than under private basic(nco) before the first pay increase, the spot is blank. Does that mean you are not paid untill after basic? Or is the pay rate the same as 1St increase? I'm not overall worried, I have a well paying...

    I've just had my application accepted by my cities local reserve as infantry. Just curious on what to expect, or what any other reservists experienced in their first few weeks of training. I will be doing my bmq on weekends if that helps. Thanks for sharing your experiences.

    I spoke to a recruiter on teusday evening, (I apologize for not knowing the acronyms for training. So bear with me) and what I got from it is for the reserves you will complete your BMQ on weekends over the course ofna few months, then you go for your trade specific training over the summer...

    Just talked to a recruiter today. Got all my paperwork and will fill out and drop off next week, and possibly do my fitness test on the same day. Basic Training can be done on weekends over 5 months, and trade specific will be accomplished next summer. Thanks much for all your info and help...
