    The US Presidency 2020

FJAG - the hypocrisy and malice of this decision is confounding. Delay vital money for your most vulnerable so the King or is it Emperor?, can add his name?  The mental gymnastic required to fit this latest incompetence and naked power into the narrative is truly staggering. Edits for...

Plane crash near Resolute Bay kills 12 - Aug 20, 2011

Interesting info ref the PAR. My young FO was so happy to get an 'excellent' a few months back while flying the autopilot,  I flew the next one and hand flew it and managed to get the turkey aka three 'excellent' calls on one approach. I guess we're still competitive folks by nature. ;D Not sure...

Plane crash near Resolute Bay kills 12 - Aug 20, 2011

Sorry ref PAR, all PAR approaches are DND only no? So only an RCAF Irt would allow you to fly it legally?

Free rides for military personnel on RCAF flights?

If you contact most RCAF Wing Air movements units be it an AMS, MAMS or Traffic section they should be able to give you a list of upcoming service flights. If the flight is authorized for General Leave you would contact the National Passenger Service Center out of Trenton and book your self with...

    SAR Pilot

I'll add a few things for your info. Typically shifts are broken down as follows. Standby -  you begin at home on 2 hour readiness meaning you must be airborne within that time from the time the Aircraft Commander gets tasked. This generally start at 0500 depends on region/Sqn. Crew will...

Canadian Automated Pilot Selection System (CAPSS)

I don't post very often, but I will echo Max's comments follow the instructions to a tee, and you will do fine. I was given lots of advice regarding air crew selection and ultimately I used a light touch on the yoke aka thumbs only and followed the instructions and chair flew after each sessions...

    FWSAR (CC130H, Buffalo, C27J, V22): Status & Possibilities

Lockheed's new C-130XJ will most likely be the aircraft offered, it's basically a J lacking the automated  cargo handling system. BTW their is no issue with flying a stubby Herc in the mountains...just sayin.....
