Can't say for other area but in Valcartier we use VBS 2 to train lot's of people, at the simulation center we had MP practicing vehicule control, supply doing there convoy procedure (reacting to IED and such...) as well as armoured and infantry practicing some of their drills(not sure which...

Just my grain of salt. Some organization who work for the regF(mostly) actually prefer class B to have some stability in the position their manning.  There is a cost to retraining a new guy every 3 to 4 year.  And they can have a class B 20 years in a position if they want, with the guy knowing...
