Situation- Prior to starting parental leave in Nov 09 , I was briefed by the MATA/PATA clerk. She informed me that a recent  CANFORGEN stated that pers going on LWOP would be keeping their LDA. She stated in the briefing that currently there was no way to enter the LDA into the LWOP pay system...

I just bought a new Jeep in Halifax at Steele Chrysler. Military members recieve $250 in gas cards. It's not a large percentage when you look at the price of a vehicle, but i didn't have to buy gas for 4 months. ;D

That was the first test in the CF i was 100% sure i passed, however, it seems some people must have misplaced their question bank prior to studying.  :-X

I just fininshed a week of training on the SAS system, and I'm just wondering if anyone has actually seen the system mounted in a carrier. Some of us have concerns reference the amount of space it's going to take up.

10.29 is a pretty decent time for the 2.4, and with more cardio, you won't need that breather. 10k in under 40 is respectable too. What will really help your running is a route with a couple steep up hill sections, your body learns to appreciate the level parts that much more, so they are easier

Armymedic. We weren't given an amount or a start date, but with highers "managment of expectations", i can't see it in the O-Group if it wasn't past the rumor stage. Thank's for the answer though, i thought i blanked out  or was halucinating when i heard about extra money

I heard in an O-Group point this week that some field untis were going to be given an allowance, along the same line as sea pay/jump pay. I'm just wondering if anyone is "in the know" on this.
