Component Transfer (CT) - Regular to Reserve [MERGED]

Hello, Before I begin with my topic I would like to state that I had used the search function with no success. If anyone else has different luck with it, please point me in the right direction as it would be greatly appreciated. Out with it now... As the topic implies I'm looking for info...

    BMQ - April 2012

CFRC: Calgary BMQ: April 23, 2012 Trade: ACISS Just got the call today so now I'm in a big rush to get everything done this week. I was actually supposed to go to BMQ last August but couldn't go to my course do to some medical reasons. So I'm very excited and very nervous! It's been a long two...

    Application Process Samples [2003 - 2018]

Thank you everyone for the replies. I just booked my aircrew medical yesterday for this Thursday at 10 a.m. My file manager wasn't able to give me any information about what I'd have to do/prepare for it but judging by WonderGirl's post I'll assume that I'll have to do a 10 hour fasting before...

    BMQ - August 2011

Same here! I was worried about being the only one for the strange reason. Oddly enough, they gave me the job offer, I accepted, then I brought to their attention the fact that I would need to do an air crew medical (just booked that now). Now I'm paranoid again that I might fail that and then...

    Application Process Samples [2003 - 2018]

Thank you Sleath! And another thank you for all those who cleared up the air crew medical subject. I'm left a little curious now as to why they offered me the job before I had completed it. I'll have to see what's going on Monday. If I do have to do it, hopefully it won't be a problem or impede...

    No Fitness Test?

Don't they still have the warrior platoon for all the unfit that arrive there? Or did they disban that idea? I'm not worried about it, I am curious though.

    BMQ - August 2011

Didn't see any threads for the August BMQ so I thought I'd start one up! My file manager told me my course starts on August 29th. Coming from Calgary here.

    Infantry soldiers

I believe the search feature on the website could help you with your question. Anyways, very few spots opened up for Infantry this year as it's basically full up on staff. There's absolutely NO way to tell when they'll be hiring again or taking new applicants for the trade itself. I would...

    Application Process Samples [2003 - 2018]

Just called to ask my file manager how I could be more competitive and told me I have a job offer for AC Op (I'll assume he meant ACISS since I didn't get merit listed for Aerospace Control Operator even though I applied for it). He then said I should be getting my official offer from him in 1-2...

    Getting into the Forces

The others before me are right, give you're centre a call! A lot of the time they're busy with other things and just don't have enough time, especially since they're dealing with so many other people. Also, you should know there will be a lot of times they'll tell you to contact them for an...

    Application Process Samples [2003 - 2018]

I was in CFRC Calgary yesterday and was told they're still doing selections. The WO then told me to wait another month and check back if I hadn't heard anything from them. This was for Sig Op.

    Application Process Samples [2003 - 2018]

I was in CFRC Calgary half an hour ago and was told they're still doing selections for ACISS (Sig Op). I was told that they'll be making calls within a month and if you don't hear anything within that time frame you most likely weren't selected this round. Here's hoping.
