Same here, they told me my flight was booked before I even mentioned driving.  I don't mind, considering the fact you have to leave your car outside for 5 weeks in the winter anyways and I don't want to have to deal with a dead battery in my truck while I'm there.  If I really need it I'll hitch...

I have a friend last year who bypassed PFT, and I was told the same would happen for me (DEO PLT starting BMOQ in Jan).  But who knows, maybe the standards have changed recently.  I'll guess I'll just have to wait to find out.

From what I've been told I would get the PFT bypass, but nothing is confirmed 100%.  At this point I'm only concerned about making it in.  Hopefully I will hear some good news about the medical soon.  I haven't heard anything about conditional offers recently.  They may have only been doing that...

DEO candidate here, I completed ASC successfully a month ago, still no word yet from DRDC so it does take quite a bit of time (I was verbally told by the flight surgeon that everything in my medical file was excellent and that he signed off on it, but have not officially received air factor).
