Our OC just came back from his Tac Recce and he told us that guys over there were wearing flea collars around their ankles.

My Squadron is looking at buying Drop-Leg mag pouches for the guys in the turrets of the LAVs and Coyotes so that if we have to get out of the turret in a hurry we don't have to waste time fumbling around putting our tac vests on and we'd still have ammo for our pers wpns.

A guy I know from the Brockville Rifles is over there right now. I've been told that my driver for 1-07 is from the PEIR I just got told on Tuesday that I was going to be going as a Gunner in an Engineer  LAV in February, so I haven't met my driver or crew commander yet.

The regimental family has lost another soldier, Tpr Mark Andrew Wilson was killed in Afghanistan today. RIP  :salute:

Two Dragoons were killed and five more were wounded in Afghanistan today. The news just released the names of the two that were killed and I was saddened to hear the name of someone I know, Sgt Craig Gillam. RIP Craig  :salute:
