    A Truly Lackluster Tale

I'm going to pretend I knew that and that I totally meant to spell it out that way. Never mind the impending edit. At any rate my family issues have been squared away. As a note to anyone dealing with family issues, don't pack them into a proverbial box and pretend you'll never see it again...

    A Truly Lackluster Tale

Yeah, I am reapplying to get in. And yes, I can see where your coming from CallOfDuty. Honestly like I mentioned I was surprised I got another chance, but I acquitted myself well. I can't simply say I won't VR again, even though I know I won't, because actions tend to speak louder than words. At...

    A Truly Lackluster Tale

First off, howdy. I'm a regular browser of these forums but I figure I can pop my head out of my shell at least this once for a fireside story. It's a bit of a wall of text, I did my best to space it out. Anyways, I begin my story like many others. I walked into the recruiting center convinced...

    20 meter Beep Test -Merged

One thing you'll learn quickly is that you should never stop at the standard. The idea is to meet the standard, and then exceed it to the best of your ability. Always, and with pretty much everything, do the best you can at all times, because the standard is not a stop sign. Just my .02 cents.

    Waking up?

Get a battery powered one, as well. Anything you plug in will have to be unplugged every morning and then you'll have to reprogram the time and all that. Also make sure it's small so that you can store it away. Something small, battery powered and convenient.

Canadian Forces Aptitude Test (CFAT) [MERGED]

Another item worth trying is a GED Book. Covers English and Math and a variety of other subjects that may or may not interest you. If you don't know what a GED is, it's a General Educational Development test. Basically it's a series of tests that people can take that basically gives them a High...

Fall '08 TV Shows - Your picks?

Well.. For the fall 08 season.. I'll probably be watching: All those new reality shows are depressing. And Survivor lost its luster after the first season for me. And every other new show to come out is either a variation of big brother or some sort of a dating show. But for returning favorites...

    Reserve Co-op enrollment 2014-2017

Certain High schools will offer Co-Op courses through nearby Reserve units. I know in my old High school a Co-Op course ran almost every year, and the BMQ for that course usually worked out to be every day during the week but they got to go home at the end of the day. It was also up to whomever...

April 08 BMQ - ALL LOCATIONS

Well thank your lucky stars I wasn't one of them!  :P Speaking of which I haven't eaten at Haugens in ages. Maybe it was the men in chaps. And thank you! Spyridon, I'm swearing in on the 26th of this month. What regiment are you going for by the way? If all goes well I'll be in the PPCLI.

April 08 BMQ - ALL LOCATIONS

I'm from Port Perry, Ontario. Kind of in the middle of nowhere. But I'm going to the Toronto CFRC for my swearing in. You?

April 08 BMQ - ALL LOCATIONS

I'm on that course. I'm going for Infantry. I'm coming from Ontario, but I'm not 100% sure whether I'm driving or flying. I'll know after my enrollment ceremony. Anyone else?
