I was just wondering about every ones oppinion of using the CP-140 Aurora as an over land armed comand and controll aircraft...
Apparently the new CDS enjoyed using the American P-3's in Op Apollo for that roll. He has put a push on the AIMP upgrades which include the self protection package...
Well I see the aircrew has thrown their fair shots in here...
Now a techs turn.....
Pilots have to be smart enough to realize that systems do not work in the O F F positon.

I agree with Garry your in for a real shock..... i myself left the infantry reserves to the gloarious hights of the AVN tech world..(watch out for us guys.. we are the ones that forget about that whole knife and fork thing... ) i think its the armorers that made us forget...

I would just like to add some thing to the Servicing to flight ratio of the aircraft in the Canadian forces. As and AVN Tech
on the CP-140, this is the man hours that go into a 3 hour training flight.
Preflight..
B check.---- 3 pers 40 minutes each 120 minutes
fuel ----------3 pers 35...
