Pff, I’m still waiting on the RMO. There was some back and forth at the outset with the medical documents, but they’ve had them for months now at this point, and I’ve heard nothing- my file status still says ready for medical/interview. Recruiter doesn’t have anything to tell me. I’m not...
Oh man I just checked my application today and panicked a little to see it was closed. I'm waiting on medical approval from some unfortunate form delays but I really hope they just hit pause on it because it was waiting too long rather than a medical rejection. Application still says 'Ready for...
They'll let you know what to bring/ how to prepare but it's not a humongous process. They'll take resting heart rate, hearing/ vision, etc. Just don't come in hung over or caffeinated so they can get a good read on you.
Yeah as the answer above gave, they tell you at the start of the interview that all questions are confidential and not to be shared- that being said, it is much like a normal job interview, except they're also double-checking that you've done your research into what will be expected of you in...
Awesome- really quick turnaround on your medical forms to med fit- was it a really minor medical issue or just lucky that they cleared you through quick, do you think? I'm feeling like it's going to be a long while still before I hear back. and I'm bracing myself for a rejection and lengthy...
I'm still in the recruitment process as well, (so don't take me as an authority) and I have a somewhat similar history. It's been over 8 years for me since I last felt I had any kind of depression but I felt it was the honest thing to be forthright with it to the medic. They will ask a lot of...
Mostly because the original forms were almost destroyed by the rain when Canada Post left them out to get soaked- I peeled them out and laid them flat to dry before scanning them and sending the scans to be filled out, but they remained pretty fragile even after they dried. Seemed the safer bet...
ticks all the boxes- practical, sharp, traditional, BOLD. Tie is still black though, drabs the whole thing down- gotta get some pastels going for the accessories. Then we're fighting fit.
I've completed pretty much everything about the recruiting process except I have these med forms I need to get back to the med tech who saw me back in the spring. I'm worried about just sticking these forms in the mail for a couple reasons- first, my doctor filled out the forms and sent them...
Practise the CFAT for sure. The practice tests like this one Test Window will give you a good idea of what to expect. In the math section in particular there are a lot of questions that aren't difficult math, but need to be thought through carefully, as well as a couple of left-field questions...

I was deemed 'suitable'! Still have to wait on some med form stuff but it looks like a go otherwise. Stoked to get the next steps going but I'm sure it won't be that quick
Excited to get notified today that I'll have my interview for Infantry Officer (PRes) next week- while I've been in the application process since the spring and feel like I have a reasonable expectation of what to expect, I know it's not a quick interview and I'm expecting some tough questions...
