xx Access to Profile from Home page?

August 13, 2015, 15:31:26 by Lumber
Colour me blind, but I've been a member for 9 years, and I still can't figure out if there is a way to go directly to my profile from the Home page.

From the master list of Topics/Threads, sure; that's easy. But from the home page? Does it exist?

xx electrician trade at BCIT or apply for Electrical Distribution Technician?

August 14, 2015, 00:18:18 by kod006
Hi, I have been working in electrician trade for a year now, but I haven't had myself signed up as apprentice yet. I am also planning to apply for Reserves.

Before applying, I can use some advice. I have been thinking about, should I complete my electrician trade (all four levels) through BCIT or apply for Electrical Distribution Technician?

Thank you

xx Cant go away for my DP1 this summer - within good reason.

June 26, 2015, 00:50:24 by bulletz
I'll try to keep this as short as possible, before I joined the Army Reserves I attended a police academy, its been my goal since I was a child to be a police officer, I enjoy the military for the most part, but I always said I would put policing first. I was supposed to go on my infantry DP1 which starts in about a week, but today I received an email that Edmonton police services want to me to come in for the final part of the hiring in Edmonton July 20th, meaning I have to choose between doing my reserve force DP1 or a potential career i've always wanted. I'm choosing to take the risk and go to Edmonton.

My question is, when I call and explain tomorrow why I cant go a week before course can they potentially kick me out? I haven't signed a class b contract or anything. I know its a shitty thing to do but I just found this out yesterday. I enjoy the military and would still like to stay in it, I just can't go away this summer.

Like I said, I haven't signed a contract yet. Most that happened is they put an advance in my bank account which I didn't need nor ask for, I'm just going to return the money by money order.

xx Life of an EME officer

May 05, 2015, 00:38:18 by AndrewEME
Hi my name is Andrew, and I am an EME DEO (OCdt). I am departing to Quebec in a few weeks to receive basic training in June. I was wondering if any current/retired EME officers could describe to me how an average day of an EME OFFICER is like. One burning question: what happens after dp1 in New Brunswick? Do we get to choose where we get to work, or do we fly/ship out to wherever we are needed?

Military Quote
To capture the enemy's entire army is better than to destroy it; to take intact a regiment, a company, or a squad is better than to destroy them. For to win one hundred victories in one hundred battles is not the supreme of excellence. To subdue the enemy without fighting is the supreme excellence.
